Welcome to Real-World Intelligence Lab
With the goal of “creating artificial intelligence that understands the real world,” we conduct research on AI technologies that infer human and animal behaviors, states, and contexts from multimodal sensor data.
Our laboratory takes an interdisciplinary approach spanning IoT, wearable and biologging technologies, human and animal sensing, activity recognition and positioning, edge AI and embedded AI, as well as Physical AI. By jointly designing sensors, data, algorithms, and system implementations as an integrated framework, we aim to establish an intelligent foundation that operates robustly in real-world environments.
